adminFor my inaugural backpacking trip to the Four Pass Loop in Colorado, I have assembled the gear list of the items I will be taking with me. It’s important to note that for my first trip, I am intentionally bringing some unnecessary comfort items, as well as a mix of inexpensive and more expensive gear. This will undoubtedly make my pack heavier than it truly needs to be, but it is for good reason. Currently, my pack weighs around 37 lbs, which is more than I would typically strive to carry. I’m doing this to not only test the gear itself, but also gain a better understanding of what items i used the most and which items i can go without on my next adventure.
